Wedding Times ("we", "us", "our") operates the website weddingtimes.in — an online tool that lets couples create personalised, print-ready wedding magazine covers. We are based in India and our services are primarily offered to users in India, though couples from anywhere in the world are welcome to use our platform.

Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide you with a great service. Here is what we collect and how:
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:
- To deliver your cover — your name, date, city, and tagline are embedded into the cover design you create.
- To process your payment — order details are passed to SureCart to complete your transaction securely.
- To restore your session — cover data is temporarily stored in your browser's local storage so you can return after payment and download your file.
- To send transactional emails — order confirmations and download links, if applicable.
- To send our newsletter — only if you explicitly subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve our service — anonymised analytics help us understand which templates are popular and how to make the creator easier to use.
- To respond to your enquiries — when you contact us via the contact form or email.
We do not use your data for advertising profiling, sell it to third parties, or use it for any purpose not listed above.
Your Photo & Cover Data
When you upload a photo to the cover creator, here is exactly what happens:
- Your photo is loaded directly in your browser using JavaScript. It is never automatically transmitted to our servers.
- The photo is temporarily held in your browser's local storage — a storage space on your own device — solely to preserve it during the payment handoff so you can download your watermark-free cover after payment.
- This local storage data is automatically cleared after your PDF is downloaded, or after 24 hours — whichever comes first.
- When generating your PDF, the photo is processed client-side in your browser and rendered into the cover without being uploaded to our servers.
We do not store, view, analyse or share your wedding photos. They remain on your device at all times.
Your cover design details (names, date, city, template choice) may be briefly processed server-side during payment verification but are not stored in any long-term database linked to your identity.
Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to make our website work properly and to understand how it is used. Here is a breakdown:
- Essential cookies — required for the website to function. These cannot be disabled. They include session management and checkout flow cookies.
- Analytics cookies — we use Google Analytics (anonymised IP mode) to understand page performance, popular templates, and user flows. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
- Preference cookies — remember your template selection, page size preference, and other settings so you don't have to re-enter them.
- Payment cookies — set by SureCart during the checkout process to secure your transaction.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the cover creator and checkout process.
Third-Party Services
We work with a small number of trusted third-party services to operate our platform. Each has its own privacy policy:

- WordPress & Elementor — powers our website and content management. Standard WordPress security and logging practices apply.
- Email service provider — used to send transactional emails and newsletters. Only your email address and first name are shared with this provider.
We do not share your data with any advertising networks, data brokers, social media platforms, or other third parties beyond those listed above.
Data Storage & Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information:
- All data in transit is encrypted using SSL/TLS (the padlock you see in your browser).
- Payment data is handled entirely by SureCart and is never stored on our servers.
- Your photo is processed locally in your browser and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
- We use secure, reputable hosting infrastructure with regular security updates and backups.
- Access to any collected data (e.g. contact form submissions, analytics) is restricted to authorised team members only.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you become aware of any security concern, please notify us immediately at hello@weddingtimes.in.
Data retention: Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Anonymised analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings (14 months).
Your Rights
As a user of our service, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Children's Privacy
