We want you to be completely satisfied with your Wedding Times cover. This policy explains our refund terms, eligibility, and process in clear, simple language.
01 — Foundation

Refund Policy Overview

Wedding Times offers refunds under specific circumstances. Because we deliver digital products instantly upon payment, most purchases are final. However, if something goes wrong on our end or you encounter a technical issue, we'll make it right.

Our refund policy balances fair customer service with the nature of our digital product. We're committed to resolving issues promptly and fairly. Most concerns can be addressed through our support team within 2 business days.

Good news: We handle refund requests personally. You'll speak directly with our team, not a chatbot.
02 — Timeline

Refund Timeline & Process

Understanding when to request a refund and how long it takes is important. Here's the complete timeline:

Within 7 days of purchase

You must submit your refund request. After 7 days, we cannot process refunds for most issues.

We review your request and assess eligibility. We'll respond with an approval, denial, or request for more information.

Processing: 5–7 business days

Once approved, your refund is processed through your original payment method. Bank processing times vary.

Important: Your refund request must be submitted within 7 days of your purchase date. Requests submitted after this window cannot be processed, even if the issue is our fault.
03 — Eligibility

When We Offer Refunds

We provide full refunds (₹2999) for the following situations:

  1. Technical failure on our end — Your PDF was not generated due to an error in our system, and you were unable to download your cover despite multiple attempts.
  2. Payment processed but no download — Your payment went through successfully, but you were not redirected to the download screen or the cover file was unavailable for retrieval.
  3. Duplicate charge — You were charged more than once for the same cover within a 24-hour period.
  4. Complete service unavailability — The entire Wedding Times service was down during your purchase window and prevented you from using the product.
  5. File corruption or damage — Your downloaded PDF is corrupted and unable to open or print.

To request a refund for any of these reasons, email hello@weddingtimes.in with:

  • Your order reference number or transaction ID
  • Date and time of purchase
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Screenshots or evidence (if applicable)
04 — Ineligibility

When We Cannot Offer Refunds

The following requests do not qualify for refunds. Please review this section carefully before purchasing.

  1. Change of mind — You decided you no longer want the cover after downloading it.
  2. Wrong template or page size — You selected a template or page size that didn't match your preference. All templates can be previewed for free before purchase.
  3. Unsatisfied with design — The final PDF looks different from how you expected it to look, but the template matched the preview.
  4. Photo quality issues — Your uploaded photo was low-resolution or blurry, resulting in poor print quality. We recommend photos of at least 2000×3000 pixels.
  5. Printing or printer issues — The PDF downloads correctly but prints poorly due to your printer settings, paper quality, or ink.
  6. Refund request after 7 days — No refunds are processed for requests submitted more than 7 days after purchase.
  7. User error or missed download — You accidentally closed the download window or didn't save the file before clearing your browser cache.
  8. Partial dissatisfaction — You're unhappy with minor text or design choices that you had control over during creation.

How to Request a Refund

Requesting a refund is straightforward. Follow these steps:

  1. Gather your information — Locate your order reference number (from your payment confirmation email) and note the date of purchase.
  2. Send an email — Email hello@weddingtimes.in with subject line: "Refund Request"
  3. Include details — Provide your order reference, purchase date, reason for refund, and any supporting details or screenshots.
  4. Wait for review — Our team will review your request within 3 business days and respond with a decision.
  5. Approval and processing — If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

06 — Processing

Refund Processing Details

Payment method refunds

Your refund will be returned to your original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5–7 business days (depends on your bank)
  • UPI: 2–3 business days
  • Net Banking: 3–5 business days
  • Digital Wallets: 2–4 business days

Important notes

  • You cannot receive a refund as store credit or gift card — refunds go to your original payment method only.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your refund is processed.
  • If you don't see the refund in your account within 10 business days, contact us immediately.
  • Refund processing times are beyond our control once we submit the refund to your bank.
Transparency: We'll update you via email at each step — request received, review started, decision made, and refund processed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a refund if I don't like the design?

No. The free preview shows exactly what you'll receive. If you're unsure about the design before purchasing, take your time reviewing the preview. Once you've downloaded the final PDF, the purchase is complete.

What if the PDF won't open?

Try downloading it again from your browser history. If it's corrupted or damaged, contact us at hello@weddingtimes.in with your order reference. We can regenerate your cover at no additional cost.

I forgot to download my cover. Can I still get it?

Yes. Contact us within 7 days of purchase with your order reference, and we'll regenerate your cover and send you a fresh download link. No refund needed — we'll resend it for free.

Why isn't my refund showing up?

Refunds can take 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Check your bank account and credit card statement carefully — it might appear as a "reversal" or "credit." If 10 business days have passed, contact us.

Can I get a refund as store credit instead?

No. All refunds are returned to your original payment method only. We don't offer store credit or gift card alternatives.

What if I purchased as a gift for someone else?

Refunds are available to the person who made the purchase. If you're requesting a refund for a gift purchase, contact us with your order reference.

Is there a limit to how many times I can request a refund?

Refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis. Repeated refund requests for the same reason (e.g., change of mind) may be declined, and we reserve the right to limit future service to accounts with a pattern of refund abuse.
